Back in 2014, Adam Bluemner with Find Accounting Software wrote an article entitled “How to Tame the Construction Billing Cycle with Software.” I read the article with interest because I wanted to see how our Spitfire Project Management System (which includes functionality for construction billing as well as for general project management) fares when compared to Adam’s recommendations.

I’ve heard it said that up to 6% (or 103 billion dollars) of the Construction Industry’s annual revenue of $1,731,000,000,000 is in litigation at any one time within the USA. Wow!

Probably each of us has had the experience of going to the circus, or seeing one on television, and watching the people on the flying trapeze. To heighten the interest of those watching, it was sometimes the practice to eliminate the safety net and do the act without it. Naturally, this meant certain injury or death to that “man or woman on the flying trapeze” if an accident happened during the act.
